HOW REGULAR INTAKE OF WATER AFFECTS YOUR FACE

A lot of persons are bothered about the appearance of their skin, they even go as far as looking for different creams to apply on the face so that it can become smooth.

One of the common skin problems commonly experienced by both male and female is acne. But among the numerous ways of controlling and reducing the acne is this simple but highly neglected by humans which is regular drinking of water.


Water drinking should be a habit which everyone is expected to imbibe as many times as possible in a day. This has shown to possess a lot of health benefits including clearing of acne. Water does this by hydrating the skin which helps reduce excess oil production which results in acne on the face.

Also, regular intake of water has been shown to help hydrate the skin, flush away toxins and balancing up the oil and water level, keeping the oil level minimal.

Regular drinking of water also helps to regulate hormonal level which facilitates the secretion of oil from oil glands which can result in acne.

By taking water together with meals or after meals that have low glucose which helps to reduce insulin level on the blood and consequently decrease oil production thereby reducing acne.


Drinking of water has also been known to prevent the clogging of the skin pores which reduces acne on the face and prevent acne on the face. It does this by shrinking the pores to avoid accumulation of dirt thereby reducing the likelihood of the skin to clog and cause a zit.
